Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Technology, or Computer Science with 8+ years in operations, maintenance, engineering, or technical project management (Scheduler III); OR Associate's degree with 10+ years; OR High school diploma/GED with 12+ years in journey-level craft, qualified watch station, field engineer, technical project management, or Quality Control. Alternative: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology with 5+ years relevant experience (Scheduler II); OR Associate's degree with 7+ years; OR High school diploma/GED with 9+ years.
About this role
Schedule plant activities and develop system window schedules for Columbia Generating Station (a Boiling Water Reactor) to support on-line maintenance and refueling outages. Use Asset Suite and Primavera scheduling tools to coordinate work orders, resource allocation, crew assignments, and conflict resolution under the Lead Outage Scheduler.
Responsibilities
- Develop on-line and outage schedules for Columbia Generating Station using Asset Suite and Primavera
- Execute scheduling interface programs to manage schedules, resource requirements, and crew assignments
- Update schedule status for work orders and provide management reports on system window scope and implementation timing
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and develop outage shutdown risk profiles in coordination with Lead Outage Scheduler and Outage Manager
- Support biennial refueling outages and the Outage Command Center (OCC)
- Maintain performance indicators for Planning, Scheduling, and Outage groups
- Participate in Emergency Response Team (ERO) activities and drills when designated
