Required qualifications
- Minimum: High School Diploma Minimum of 2 years of nuclear power plant experience, with 6 months ofparticipation in the radiation protection section activities at a nuclear power plant.
- Knowledge of plant procedures and regulations Knowledge of plant systems and processes Knowledge of the work management process Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain priorities Effective at building and sustaining working relationships across disciplines Any applicant accepting this position will be required to meet background screening and fitness for duty requirements.

- Live (or relocate to) within 90 minutes of the SNC Emergency Operations Facility for emergency response availability Preferred: Bachelor's or advanced degree in related area; e.g., physical science, scientific field or engineering Associates degree specific to Radiation Protection Previous Supervisory Experience at a Nuclear Power Plant, preferably a BWR CHP and/or NRRPT Certification Radiation Protection Manager qualified as per ANSI 3.1 - 2014 MAJOR
About this role
The Radiation Protection Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and supervises a team of Radiation Protection Technicians responsible for health physics related activities that support the conduct of operations and maintenance activities at the facility.
Responsibilities

- Effectively lead the radiation protection technicians by developing clear goals, accountabilities, performance measures and developmental plans; hold employees accountable for demonstrating performance that is consistent with expected performance; plan for workforce changes to ensure work is not interrupted; value input from employees and incorporate suggestions, as appropriate.
- Engaged in the work management process by participating in the T week planning and critique process and providing direct oversight of field activities.
