Protective Security Manager
About this role
Westinghouse seeks a Protective Security Manager to oversee implementation and compliance of Global Security programs across Polish manufacturing and operational sites. You will serve as the primary liaison between WEC Poland departments and Global Security & Real Estate, reporting to the President of Westinghouse Poland in Warsaw. This role ensures adherence to regulatory directives, company policies, and local security standards while promoting nuclear safety culture.
Responsibilities
- —Ensure programmatic security standards are defined and maintained to achieve compliance with regulatory directives, company, and local policies
- —Develop and administer Westinghouse Global Security policies, procedures, and programs across Polish sites following government and regulatory standards
- —Conduct site visits, audits, and inspections to identify and address security vulnerabilities and gaps
- —Support daily administration of physical security and access control standards and systems
- —Coordinate design and implementation of physical security installations at company offices and facilities
- —Conduct self-assessments to determine program effectiveness and identify improvement areas
- —Interface with project, client, and functional management to provide required notifications and oversight
- —Develop networks and relationships with law enforcement and international security counterparts
- —Promote interfaces and program development between security and departments including travel, cyber security, IT, trade compliance, data privacy, and HR
- —Maintain a safety-conscious work environment and promote nuclear safety culture through local governance
Qualifications
- —7+ years of experience working in protective security
- —Education with security focus or equivalent relevant experience
- —Full professional proficiency in Polish and English (written and spoken)
- —Knowledge of MS Office tools
Location
Onsite in Warsaw, Poland with hybrid work model and flexible working time available. Travel required for site visits and audits across Polish facilities.
