About this role
1-year contract Project Manager role at St. Lucie Nuclear Plant (Jensen Beach, FL). Manage nuclear capital projects from conception through closeout, including reactor head replacement, turbine gantry crane, and condenser replacement. Lead cross-functional teams of engineers and construction staff while controlling costs to budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects to completion by scheduled dates; create plans, cost analysis, schedules, estimations, and reports to communicate deliverables and status
- Coordinate engineering, construction, and other functional resources to achieve project goals
- Lead and mentor schedulers, cost engineers, and estimators on project significance and execution
- Manage project controls systems and processes to support project development and tracking
- Surface problems, provide recommendations, and maintain project momentum throughout execution
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with condenser replacement, integrated reactor head replacement, or turbine gantry crane replacement projects
- Background from organizations such as PGD or similar entities to provide independent perspectives
Location, schedule, and travel
Jensen Beach, FL 34957; onsite at St. Lucie Nuclear Plant; periodic travel to other nuclear sites; no per diem available
