Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related technical discipline
  • 4–6 years of experience as project manager in a technical industry (engineering, manufacturing, nuclear, or construction)
  • 4+ years of experience as project manager leading and directing medium or high complexity projects to successful completion (or equivalent: 2 years technical/engineering role + 2 years as project manager)
  • Project Management Institute's Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or approved equivalent

Project Manager at Westinghouse managing low to medium complexity nuclear energy projects. Oversee full project lifecycle—planning, execution, and closure—including scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and resources. Build and maintain customer relationships to drive business growth in nuclear clean energy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage scope, schedule, cost/revenue, risk, quality, resources, communications, and partners aligned with project/contract requirements
  • Author project plans and develop scope, schedule, cost baselines, resource and financial forecasts, and risk registers
  • Oversee project cost/revenue expenditures, forecasts, and progress evaluations to support project and financial reporting
  • Promote teamwork by issuing and maintaining project process metrics and process maps to keep team, customer, and partners informed of project status
  • Develop and oversee project databases and procedures for efficient handling and transmission of internal/external project correspondence and documentation
  • Serve as single customer representative to cultivate relationships with team, customer, and Product Management to facilitate project completion and identify business growth opportunities
  • Close out projects by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems/tools

Preferred qualifications

  • Broad technical knowledge of nuclear power plants
