Program Manager - Xudapu I&C
About this role
Program Manager for Westinghouse nuclear power plant I&C (Instrumentation & Control) projects in Asia. Lead cross-functional project teams of up to 15 people managing medium to high complexity deliverables. Manage scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality while ensuring contractual compliance and supporting commercial negotiations.
Responsibilities
- —Complete project planning including authoring plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines
- —Monitor project performance against program strategy and department protocols for resource management
- —Support delivery across scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, and communications
- —Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements to teams using integrated change management processes
- —Support project closure through archival in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource systems
- —Perform final quality assessments and report findings
- —Identify improvement opportunities, lessons learned, and risk avoidance strategies
- —Develop relationships with team, customers, suppliers, and Westinghouse in-country representatives
- —Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing value-adding opportunities
Qualifications
- —5+ years project management/controls experience OR 4+ years project management/controls plus 4+ years in technical role (nuclear, technical, or construction industry)
- —Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related technical discipline
- —Ability to transform data into visual reports and understand database concepts for system data management
- —Understanding of company function interactions (Finance, Legal, Quality, Supply Chain) as project touchpoints
- —Westinghouse Project Manager or Program Manager qualification completed; motivation to pursue Program Manager qualification if needed
- —PMI® Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification, or equivalent project management certification completed or in progress
Desired
- —Experience on electrical or I&C (Instrumentation & Control) projects
- —Technical discipline focus on electrical and/or I&C
- —Project controls-related certification (scheduling, estimating, earned value, risk management)
Location
Warrendale, PA (hybrid, 2–3 days per week onsite); 10–20% travel required.
