Program Manager, Haiyang 5&6
About this role
Lead program management of Instrumentation & Control (I&C) delivery for the Haiyang 5&6 nuclear project, a large EPC program. Own scope, schedule, cost, and risk management while serving as primary customer interface and reporting to the Project Director.
Responsibilities
- —Own program management of assigned I&C scopes including scope, schedule, cost, and risk management
- —Develop and implement integrated execution strategies aligned with contract milestones
- —Provide guidance and oversight to supporting PMs, project support resources, and matrixed resources throughout program lifecycle
- —Identify issues and implement corrective actions to maintain contract requirements
- —Ensure contract obligations are fulfilled with quality, on time, and within assigned budget through coordination with engineering, procurement, suppliers, manufacturing and assembly facilities, and project controls teams
- —Serve as the primary interface with the customer for assigned scope areas
- —Report program status, risks, and opportunities at various organizational levels
- —Ensure adherence to nuclear safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- —Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement
- —Manage work in financial, scheduling, and document management systems
- —Identify and communicate lessons learned for future improvement
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline; 10+ years of progressive experience managing large, complex EPC or nuclear projects; advanced knowledge of project management principles including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality; proficiency in project management tools (Primavera P6, SAP, ARM) and Earned Value Management.
Desired
PMP certification; MBA or advanced degree; emphasis on I&C project experience.
Location
Cranberry Township, PA or Warrendale, PA; mobile role, on-site 2–3 days per week.
