Procurement Engineer
About this role
Remote contract role with Westinghouse supporting nuclear procurement engineering. You will provide engineering solutions to obsolescence challenges in commercial nuclear power plant systems, create compliance documentation (Item Equivalency Evaluations, Commercial Grade Dedication Packages), and guide utility clients through program implementation and regulatory strategies.
Responsibilities
Create and submit engineering documentation including Item Equivalency Evaluations, Commercial Grade Dedication Packages, and Material Master Classifications
Resolve procurement engineering holds and support project delivery deadlines
Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to improve Nuclear Power Plant Technology capability
Support projects related to nuclear operating plant obsolescence programs
Qualifications
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, Civil, or related discipline)
Minimum 1–4 years of experience in nuclear power, manufacturing, or similar industry
Operations and maintenance experience
