Procurement Engineer II
About this role
Procurement Engineer II at Westinghouse supporting commercial nuclear power plant systems and components across their full lifecycle—from design through plant-life extension. This hybrid role at the Rock Hill, SC facility addresses obsolescence engineering challenges for reactor vendors and utility operators.
Responsibilities
- —Prepare and review nuclear engineering documentation
- —Conduct Item Equivalency Evaluations for nuclear components
- —Develop Commercial Grade Dedication Packages for safety-related materials
- —Classify materials in Material Master system
- —Resolve Procurement Engineering Holds on nuclear plant equipment
- —Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to improve Nuclear Power Plant Technology capability
- —Support multiple customer business units across reactor vendors and utilities
- —Work within project constraints to meet delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- —3+ years of experience in procurement engineering (preferably nuclear or safety-critical industries)
- —Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent

Hybrid position in Rock Hill, SC (Greater Charlotte Area)
