About this role
Manage supplier quality and technical requirements for Westinghouse nuclear energy projects (AP1000, AP300, eVinci) from bid phase through manufacturing. Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and technical evaluations while ensuring compliance with nuclear safety standards and NRC regulations.
Responsibilities
Champion nuclear safety compliance and adherence to applicable procedures, standards, and Level 2/3 processes
Lead supplier assessment activities including identification, audits, technical evaluations, NDA/PIA support, RFQ package development, and proposal/compliance reviews
Develop manufacturing and process plan estimates to support design decisions, cost validation, and schedule planning
Oversee supplier execution by managing technical witness/hold points and coordinating with Supplier Quality and project teams
Lead supplier onboarding and performance management through kick-off meetings, recurring status meetings, and project coordination
Manage procurement execution including PO change notices, schedule updates, and customer status reporting
Ensure completion of purchase order scope including fabrication, testing, documentation, and quality requirements
Coordinate quality release, documentation archiving in PRIME system, customer/site turnover, and logistics arrangements
Preferred qualifications
Experience in the Power Industry or other highly regulated industries
Familiarity with Manufacturing Capability assessment and Supplier technical evaluation
Willingness to travel to support emergent project issues and supplier development
Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid role based in Cranberry Township, PA; travel required to support emergent project issues and supplier development
