Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a project manager, preferably with nuclear industry experience
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related technical discipline
About this role
Lead project management for Westinghouse's Engineering Solutions Services organization, overseeing high-complexity, high-revenue projects that implement design changes and provide engineering support for operating nuclear plants. Manage cross-disciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, structural, and software disciplines to deliver regulatory-compliant solutions.
Responsibilities
- Complete all aspects of project planning including authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines
- Manage all project dimensions: scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and partner relationships
- Acquire and coordinate team members based on project requirements following department protocols
- Interpret and transmit project and contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to teams through integrated change management processes
- Coordinate project communications to keep team, customers, and partners informed of status
- Maintain project databases and procedures for efficient handling and transmission of correspondence and documentation
- Close projects by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems
- Perform final project quality assessment and report results

- Advanced degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business
Location, schedule, and travel
Remote position; must be located in or willing to relocate to Pittsburgh, PA or Cranberry, PA area.
