Principal Project Manager
About this role
Principal Project Manager leading the execution and delivery of complex nuclear component manufacturing projects at Westinghouse. You will coordinate cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams, manage budgets and schedules, track progress against contractual milestones, and escalate risks to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery in the nuclear sector.
Responsibilities
- —Lead delivery of nuclear manufacturing projects to meet customer and contractual requirements
- —Direct project teams to achieve cost, schedule, and quality goals
- —Manage project performance, including budget control and timeline adherence
- —Escalate and resolve project risks and issues to maintain delivery commitments
- —Manage project planning and reporting activities, including schedules and resource allocation
- —Support cross-functional project activities and coordinate manufacturing execution
- —Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen efficiency and project delivery outcomes
Qualifications
- —Minimum 5–10 years of experience in nuclear industry manufacturing, engineering, or construction
- —5+ years of experience leading project teams
- —Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical discipline (or equivalent)
- —Proficiency with project scheduling tools (Primavera P6) and ERP systems (SAP)
Desired
- —PMP certification
- —P.Eng. in a relevant field
Location
Onsite at Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. Flexible schedules with potential to work remotely from anywhere in Canada.
