Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related technical discipline. 8+ years of experience as project manager in a technical industry (nuclear, engineering, manufacturing, or construction), with minimum 7 years leading low to moderate complexity projects to completion, or 3 years of project management plus 2 years in a technical leadership role.
About this role
Lead project management for moderate to high complexity nuclear and energy projects at Westinghouse's global headquarters. Manage medium-sized teams (10–30 members), oversee cost estimates and customer negotiations, and ensure all aspects of project delivery align with Westinghouse's rigorous standards. Projects include operating plant support, modifications, and capital upgrades across global nuclear fleets.
Responsibilities
- Manage all project management processes for moderate to high complexity projects or portfolios of lower complexity projects, leading medium-sized teams (10–30 members) including project controls and engineers
- Develop and maintain cost estimates, proposals, and customer negotiations for operating plant support and modifications
- Author project management plans and develop scope, schedule, and cost baselines per Westinghouse Project Management Requirements (WPMR)
- Develop and manage risk registers; manage and integrate all project aspects including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and partners
- Interpret project/contract requirements and transmit changes to departments following integrated change management processes
- Close projects by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems; perform final quality assessments and identify lessons learned
