About this role
Lead large-scale procurement projects for Westinghouse's APX Supply Chain, overseeing pre- and post-PO activities across complex nuclear engineering programs. Drive sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and contract management to deliver nuclear components on time, on budget, and to quality standards across EMEA.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all procurement activities for APX Supply Chain, including pre-PO and post-PO tasks for nuclear component sourcing
- Develop procurement strategies and plans with Offer and Project Teams; identify demand, potential suppliers, and establish supplier communication channels
- Coordinate RFx processes, develop RFx documentation, define commercial conditions, and solicit quotations for nuclear suppliers and services
- Lead pricing and terms negotiations; prepare contracts and manage purchasing processes
- Develop and maintain relationships with main suppliers and partners; resolve contract performance issues
- Manage supply and supplier commitments post-purchase order, including change and contract management
- Assess supplier capacity, capability, and manufacturing processes against project technical requirements for nuclear applications
- Apply Best-Cost Country Sourcing methodology with emphasis on middle/eastern Europe; keep Supply Chain Organization informed of supplier performance and market constraints
