Principal Procurement Project Manager
About this role
Lead large-scale procurement projects for Westinghouse's APX Supply Chain, overseeing pre- and post-PO activities across complex nuclear engineering programs. Drive sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and contract management to deliver nuclear components on time, on budget, and to quality standards across EMEA.
Responsibilities
- —Oversee all procurement activities for APX Supply Chain, including pre-PO and post-PO tasks for nuclear component sourcing
- —Develop procurement strategies and plans with Offer and Project Teams; identify demand, potential suppliers, and establish supplier communication channels
- —Coordinate RFx processes, develop RFx documentation, define commercial conditions, and solicit quotations for nuclear suppliers and services
- —Lead pricing and terms negotiations; prepare contracts and manage purchasing processes
- —Develop and maintain relationships with main suppliers and partners; resolve contract performance issues
- —Manage supply and supplier commitments post-purchase order, including change and contract management
- —Assess supplier capacity, capability, and manufacturing processes against project technical requirements for nuclear applications
- —Apply Best-Cost Country Sourcing methodology with emphasis on middle/eastern Europe; keep Supply Chain Organization informed of supplier performance and market constraints
Qualifications
- —5+ years of experience in contract/project administration, complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects
- —Demonstrated experience building long-term productive supplier relationships (SRM)
- —Experience in international sourcing and knowledge of nuclear sector supplier base
- —Analytical mindset with high ownership attitude and strategic orientation
- —Ability to translate strategy into operational results and collaborate across multiple regions and products
Location
Hybrid, Orsay, France. 10–20% travel required.
