Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and evaluate mechanical systems for operating nuclear plants, new reactors (AP1000, eVinci), and fuel fabrication facilities using engineering software
- Apply ASME and ANSI codes and standards to system design, analysis, and evaluation
- Resolve technical issues across operating plants, new construction projects, and other nuclear initiatives
- Develop calculations and design reports per ASME Section III and international codes
- Lead resolution of complex technical problems and mentor junior engineers
- Manage work within established scope, budget, and schedule constraints
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
Preferred qualifications
- Master of Science degree
- Power industry or nuclear power plant experience
- Willingness to travel for site visits and short/long-term assignments
