About this role
Lead commissioning strategy and program development for Westinghouse's AP1000 new plant projects. Establish standard procedures, training programs, and infrastructure to support the APx Commissioning organization across multiple deployment sites. Develop commissioning program strategies, schedules, administrative procedures, and comprehensive training for deployable test engineers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the standard commissioning program strategy document
- Develop and maintain a recommended standard commissioning schedule
- Develop and maintain a set of standard commissioning administrative procedures
- Plan and implement a comprehensive training program to ensure readiness of deployable test engineers
- Identify and support procurement of specialty test equipment
- Support APx project teams and respond to customer requests for information
Preferred qualifications
- Understanding of the AP1000 COL (Construction and Operating License) process
- AP1000 plant commissioning and testing experience
- Understanding of AP1000 ITAACs and their application in AP1000 delivery
- Project Management skills
- Experience mentoring and leading engineers in complex task execution
- Familiarity with testing and testing analysis
Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid role (2 days per week onsite) based in Rock Hill, SC or Cranberry Township, PA
