About this role
Lead the development and execution of Westinghouse's AP1000 commissioning program as a Principal Engineer. You'll establish standard procedures, manage mechanical testing infrastructure, and support project teams in delivering nuclear power plant commissioning solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the standard commissioning program strategy document
- Develop and maintain system/plant turnover processes
- Develop and maintain system scoping, turnover documents, and drawings
- Revise and develop pre-op and start-up test procedures and test specifications
- Identify and support procurement of specialty test equipment
- Support APx project teams as requested
- Support the APx Project Development group responding to customer requests for information
Preferred qualifications
- Understanding of the AP1000 COL process
- AP1000 plant commissioning/testing experience
- Project Management skills
- Familiarity with testing and testing analysis
- Experience mentoring engineers
- Experience leading engineers in the execution of complex tasks
- Understanding of project priorities and teamwork abilities
Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid (2 days onsite per week) at Rock Hill, SC or Cranberry Township, PA.
