Responsibilities
- Evaluate structural systems including steel members, reinforced concrete, and composite steel
- Resolve technical issues for building structure design, fabrication, assembly and construction phases
- Provide technical justification for design changes and emergent issues; troubleshoot problems
- Use GTSTRUDL software for structural evaluations
- Learn and apply industry civil/structural codes and standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE, AWS)
- Document design change proposals, document revisions, new documents and drawing generation
