Planning Officer
About this role
Planning Officer at Westinghouse Electric France supports nuclear operational continuity by managing resource scheduling, qualifications tracking, and project coordination across site activities. You will oversee operational staffing plans, maintain qualification records, process mission orders, and liaise with project managers, operational leads, training, HSE, and regulatory teams to ensure qualified personnel availability.
Responsibilities
- —Create and maintain project structures and planning databases in SAP ERP
- —Plan operational resources based on required qualifications and certifications; propose replacement solutions when unavailable
- —Ensure access and presence of qualified resources on site
- —Control, complete, and distribute mission orders
- —Manage experience tracking files for qualification extensions
- —Input and track procurement requests related to operational subcontracting
- —Participate in and lead planning meetings with stakeholders
- —Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports to identify and propose solutions
- —Liaise with project managers, operational leads, technical and regulatory training teams, HSE, HR, procurement, and subcontractors
Qualifications
- —Administrative background with experience in scheduling management and/or operationally demanding sectors
- —Proficient user of office tools (Excel, MS 365)
- —Strong English written and verbal communication
- —Customer-oriented mindset toward operations
- —Strong organizational and anticipatory skills with adaptability
- —Ability to build trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Desired
- —Experience with SAP environment
- —Background in operational support coordination
