Performance Specialist
About this role
Constellation seeks a Performance Improvement Specialist at Braidwood Nuclear Power Station (Morris, IL) to implement and oversee nuclear performance improvement programs including Corrective Action Program (CAP), self-assessment, benchmarking, human performance initiatives, and INPO compliance activities. This is a multi-level exempt position reporting to site management.
Responsibilities
- —Implement performance improvement programs and provide oversight of program execution
- —Review site performance data and identify adverse trends using observations, CAP, self-assessment, benchmarking, OPEX, and performance indicator data
- —Support CAP investigations and issue reviews; manage performance indicators
- —Coordinate cross-functional teams to prepare Management Review Meeting (MRM) packages
- —Support nuclear safety programs including Human Performance, Operating Experience, Safety Culture, and Nuclear Safety Review Board activities
- —Support INPO-related activities including evaluation readiness, scheduling, and course coordination
- —Perform emergency response duties and other assignments as directed by management
Qualifications
E02 level: Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license with 2 years related experience, OR Associate's degree with 4 years related experience, OR High school diploma/GED with 6 years related experience. E03 level: Bachelor's degree with 5 years related experience, OR current/previous SRO license with 5 years related experience, OR Associate's degree with 7 years related experience, OR High school diploma/GED with 9 years related experience. Minimum 2 years exempt level experience (E03). Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements as applicable. Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.
Desired
Experience in PI/OR (Performance Improvement/Operational Readiness) programs; Previous SRO license/certification; Root Cause Analysis qualified; Previous experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or Operations departments
Location
Onsite at Braidwood Nuclear Power Station, Morris, IL; includes emergency response duty coverage
