Perf Improvement Specialist
About this role
Performance Improvement Specialist at Clinton Power Station (Constellation Energy), responsible for implementing and overseeing nuclear performance improvement programs including Corrective Action Program (CAP), self-assessment, benchmarking, human performance initiatives, and INPO compliance activities. Two levels available: E02 (entry) and E03 (senior).
Responsibilities
- —Implement performance improvement programs and provide support and oversight
- —Review site performance data and identify adverse trends using observations, CAP, self-assessment, benchmarking, OPEX, and performance indicator data
- —Support CAP investigations and Issue Review (IR) process
- —Manage and track performance indicators
- —Coordinate cross-functionally to prepare Management Review Meeting (MRM) packages
- —Support Nuclear Safety Review Board (NSRB) and Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) activities including evaluation readiness, scheduling, and course coordination
- —Perform emergency response duties and coverage as assigned
Qualifications
E02 Level: Bachelor's degree + 2 years related experience, OR Current/previous Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license + 2 years experience, OR Associate's degree + 4 years experience, OR High school diploma/GED + 6 years experience. E03 Level: Bachelor's degree + 5 years related experience, OR SRO license + 5 years experience, OR Associate's degree + 7 years experience, OR High school diploma/GED + 9 years experience (plus minimum 2 years exempt-level experience). All candidates must maintain minimum access/unescorted access requirements and pass favorable medical examination per position duties.
Desired
- —Experience in Performance Improvement (PI) or Oversight and Review (OR) programs
- —Previous or current SRO license/certification
- —Root Cause Analysis qualification
- —Previous work experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or Operations
