About this role
P6 Scheduler for a 1-year W-2 contract at a nuclear facility. Evaluate and optimize daily P6 schedules, manage critical-path scheduling for maintenance and refueling outages, and coordinate with engineering and vendors to improve equipment availability and manpower efficiency.
Responsibilities
- —Evaluate and publish daily P6 work schedules; monitor progress against schedule
- —Prepare, publish, and monitor daily schedules for refueling outages and daily maintenance activities
- —Perform root cause analysis for schedule problems; document issues and maintain statistics
- —Conduct trend analysis on scheduling data
- —Manage development of computerized critical-path schedules for maintenance activities and refueling/maintenance outages
- —Serve as liaison with engineering department and vendors to coordinate activities
- —Recommend modifications to improve equipment availability and manpower usage
Qualifications
- —6–10 years of technical experience preferably in a nuclear facility in Engineering, Maintenance, or Operations
- —Associate's degree in Engineering or related physical science
- —Proficiency with P6 scheduling software and online scheduling applications
- —Knowledge of work management processes
- —Ability to independently lead maintenance scheduling and trend analysis activities
