  • Meet requirements outlined in ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard for Mid-Level and Senior Level positions
  • Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements as applicable
  • Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Advanced technical engineering role at Constellation's LaSalle County Generating Station supporting nuclear plant operations. Serves as a technical expert for mechanical systems and equipment, providing in-depth expertise for complex problem-solving, engineering analysis, and technical decisions impacting site operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs
  • Provide technical expertise and consultation as a subject matter expert to identify and resolve equipment and system problems
  • Fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability for short-term and long-term programs impacting site operations
  • Perform engineering tasks applying engineering principles and ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work
  • Maintain proper configuration management and ensure standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes are used in preparation of plans and specifications
  • Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs
  • Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or comply with code and regulatory changes
  • Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities as directed

Preferred qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) Registration
  • Advanced technical degree or related coursework
