Constellation, the nation's largest producer of clean energy, is hiring an I&C Electrical Engineer to support nuclear plant operations at the Byron Clean Energy facility in Byron, IL. This role offers two career levels: Mid-level ($92,700–$114,000) or Senior ($122,400–$154,000). The position involves designing, analyzing, and maintaining instrumentation and control (I&C) electrical systems that are critical to safe and reliable reactor operations.

Responsibilities

—Perform engineering and technical tasks related to I&C electrical systems under general supervision, applying nuclear engineering principles
—Ensure all engineering products comply with applicable safety analyses, industry codes (ASME, IEEE), and NRC regulatory requirements
—Participate in development and implementation of effective I&C processes and techniques in compliance with established policies and procedures
—Recommend format and methodology improvements to standard processes and procedures
—Support emergency response duties, department duty coverage, and outage activities as directed by management

Qualifications

—B.S. in Engineering
—Minimum 2 years nuclear experience or related engineering experience (Mid-level); minimum 5 years for Senior level
—Meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard requirements for nuclear power plant personnel
—Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements as applicable
—Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
