Required qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering; 1–2 years of manufacturing or production planning experience in industrial environment; working knowledge of ERP systems; advanced proficiency with MS Excel, MS Project, and Primavera or similar planning software; experience supporting Project and Operations Managers; intermediate English proficiency
About this role
Manufacturing Planner at Westinghouse responsible for medium- and long-term planning of nuclear component fabrication projects. Develop and maintain Project Master Schedules, allocate production resources, manage critical paths, and track progress against customer delivery milestones in a nuclear manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Project Master Schedules for nuclear component fabrication, incorporating sequences from Manufacturing Engineers and coordinating resource allocation
- Assign lead times and production resources to operations, ensuring alignment with customer milestones and delivery commitments
- Monitor project critical path, support Component Delivery Manager team, and track production progress against plan
- Identify resource overloads, bottlenecks, and deviations; define and implement recovery plans to minimize delays
- Prepare manufacturing schedules, workload analysis, progress tracking reports, and variance reporting
- Support timely decision-making for manufacturing continuity and compliance with safety, quality, and security procedures
Location, schedule, and travel
100% onsite in Monfalcone, Italy; reports to Head of Operations
