About this role
Manager leading a team of engineers at Westinghouse responsible for Reactor Vessel Internals (RVI) aging management, MRP-227 inspection support, and long-term operation programs for PWR and CE nuclear plant designs. Combines technical oversight of materials aging, inspection protocols, and regulatory compliance with people management, team development, and cross-functional coordination with industry partners (EPRI MRP, PWROG).
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering team including hiring, performance management, career development, and succession planning
- Set performance expectations, provide coaching and feedback, conduct formal performance evaluations
- Oversee work planning, prioritization, and resource allocation across inspection support and aging management projects
- Provide management-level technical oversight for RVI inspection support, bolting analyses, aging management programs, and long-term asset management
- Ensure high-quality delivery of engineering work products per internal quality processes and industry standards
- Serve as primary management interface with industry organizations (EPRI MRP, PWROG) and company partners
- Coordinate emergent response to customer issues and promote continuous improvement and safety culture
Preferred qualifications
10+ years progressively responsible engineering and/or leadership experience
