Constellation, the world's largest private-sector power producer, seeks a Manager Engineering to provide advanced technical expertise and leadership for nuclear plant operations. This role involves solving complex engineering problems, managing technical programs, and serving as a subject matter expert to support safe, reliable nuclear fleet operations.

Responsibilities

—Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs
—Provide technical expertise and consultation as a subject matter expert to identify and resolve equipment and system problems
—Directly fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs that impact site operations
—Perform engineering and technical tasks applying general engineering principles
—Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work with proper configuration management and adherence to standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes
—Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technical projects and programs
—Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or comply with regulatory changes
—Support emergency response duties, department coverage, and outage activities as assigned

Qualifications

—Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) or related science
—OR Professional Engineer License
—OR Active/Inactive SRO License with 5 years of engineering or related experience, including 1 year of nuclear power plant experience
—Ability to maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements per position duties
—Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
