About this role

Manager of Electrical & Controls Integration at Westinghouse leads a distributed international engineering team responsible for designing and implementing electrical and control systems for nuclear power plants and clean energy solutions. The role combines strategic oversight of engineering priorities, team development, and cross-functional collaboration across project execution and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and direction to a distributed team of engineers and technologists located internationally
  • Recruit and develop talent including interns, co-ops, new hire engineers and technologists
  • Ensure resources are trained, qualified, and capable of supporting the design and installation of electrical systems and equipment
  • Identify engineering priorities by assessing project goals, execution timelines, and implementation costs
  • Implement best practices, lessons learned, and continuous improvement in project performance and margins
  • Prepare and implement training and development plans for technical staff
  • Develop and mentor the next generation of engineers
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize engineering data and trends for management
  • Engage with external customers, partners, and Westinghouse senior management

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience managing engineering teams in power generation or nuclear industry
  • Background in electrical systems design or control systems integration

Hybrid work arrangement with remote flexibility and regular on-site collaboration required; Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania
