About this role
Lead Westinghouse's quality organization at its Swedish nuclear fuel and services operations in Västerås. Oversee two teams of quality engineers and coordinators ensuring nuclear fuel products meet all drawing, specification, certification, and customer requirements across manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead two team leaders and their direct reports, providing development and management support in quality control and assurance
- Ensure manufactured nuclear fuel products meet all drawing, specification, certification, and customer requirements
- Collaborate with production, engineering, operations, and project managers to maintain stable processes and clear quality governance
- Implement and enforce customer requirements during manufacturing
- Lead improvement initiatives in quality and manufacturing processes
- Support quality engineers in daily operations and process compliance
- Oversee documentation, traceability, and final compliance through quality coordinators
Preferred qualifications
- Experience improving quality processes through lean/six sigma methodologies
- Structured approach and comfort working closely with manufacturing operations
Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid role based in Västerås, Sweden (Bränslegatan); on-site presence encouraged.
