Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, technical, or science field and 4+ years advanced administrative or technical experience; OR Associate's degree and 7+ years experience; OR High school diploma/GED and 7+ years progressive administrative or technical experience in highly technical environment. Strong knowledge of union contract and labor agreements. Proficiency with eSoms scheduling system and fatigue management software. Knowledge of 10 CFR 26 fatigue order requirements and compliance procedures.

About this role

Manage eSoms scheduling and fatigue compliance for the Maintenance department at a nuclear facility. Own scheduling operations, ensure 10 CFR 26 compliance, administer union contracts, and coordinate all aspects of craft personnel management including overtime, training, travel, and vacation. Support nuclear refueling outages and forced outages with 24/7 coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage eSoms Fatigue Management (PQ&S) process, ensuring ongoing compliance with 10 CFR 26 fatigue order and union overtime guidelines
  • Execute callouts for overtime assignments, fill rotation schedules, update PT slips, coordinate shift swaps, manage training assignments, and track craft work hour changes
  • Maintain and update overtime lists, vacation (man-loading) calendars, and track PT, training, union meetings, medicals, mask fits, travel dates, and rotation schedules for each crew
  • Ensure correct application and administration of Nuclear Bargaining Unit Contract and Letters of Agreement (LOAs) as they apply to scheduling
  • Run reports and analyze eSoms data to support bi-weekly payroll audits and make recommendations to management on overtime availability for emergent work
  • Support refueling outages and forced outages including nights, weekend, and holiday coverage (40+ personnel online, 90+ during outages)
  • Schedule and facilitate quarterly Fatigue Management meetings; manage watch bill creation, manual shift additions, and yearly Overtime List Re-Zero
  • Monitor training coming due and schedule quarterly cycle/block training, specialty, and off-site training; schedule medicals and mask-fits
  • Process new hire, employee change, and visitor paperwork; handle revalidation and BOP reports; maintain documentation for Critical Group qualifications

Location, schedule, and travel

Supports 40+ personnel during normal operations and 90+ during refueling outages. Includes nights, weekends, and holiday coverage for outage support.
