About this role

Constellation seeks a Maintenance Planner to develop and prepare work packages for maintenance departments and contractors at nuclear power plant facilities. You'll ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations while managing corrective/preventive maintenance and modifications in compliance with company policies, NRC regulations, and applicable technical codes.

Responsibilities

—Prepare work instructions and work packages providing direction to the Maintenance Department for corrective maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance, and implementation of modifications
—Interface with Work Management, Supply, and Engineering to identify and resolve priorities and work package issues
—Define procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials required for performing planned work packages
—Conduct field walk-downs to identify and analyze corrective and preventive maintenance and modification activities
—Verify work instructions are adequate and comply with all applicable station procedures and regulatory requirements
—Review all required work packages and submit for approval before executing
—Manage multiple projects, establish work priorities, and achieve results
—Assist in planned and forced outage coordination as required

Qualifications

—Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2 years power plant maintenance and/or operations experience, OR Associate's degree with 4 years power plant maintenance and/or operations experience, OR High school diploma/GED with 6 years power plant maintenance and/or operations experience
—Maintain minimum access requirements and favorable medical examination/testing in accordance with position duties
—Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
