Required qualifications

SRO Certification/License with 9 years of operations, maintenance, or scheduling experience; OR RO License with 11 years of operations, maintenance, or scheduling experience; OR Bachelor's degree in related discipline with 9 years of project management or dedicated planning and scheduling experience (including 4 years developing complex schedules and 4 years at operating nuclear plant); OR Associate's degree with 11 years related experience (9 in PM/scheduling, 4 developing complex schedules, 4 at operating nuclear plant); OR High school diploma/GED with technical training and 13 years related experience (9 in PM/scheduling, 4 developing complex schedules, 4 at operating nuclear plant).

About this role

Lead scheduling operations at Columbia Generating Station (PWR), developing and maintaining daily, online, and outage schedules while ensuring compliance with NRC Technical Specifications and Maintenance Rules. Provide leadership to scheduler teams and establish scheduling methodology aligned with industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate detailed schedule development for Outage and On-line Schedulers to ensure Technical Specification and Maintenance Rule compliance
  • Develop and implement scheduling methodology and tools based on industry best practice
  • Serve as subject matter expert and technology lead for all scheduling methodology and tools at the station
  • Lead the scheduling team by establishing and communicating a common vision, ensuring consistency of products and tools
  • Maintain schedule integrity through review and auditing of published schedules
  • Conduct periodic reviews and self-assessments comparing current scheduling methodologies to industry best practice
  • Participate on the Emergency Response Team (ERO) when designated
  • Support biennial refueling outage operations
  • Provide support to the Outage Command Center (OCC)
