Lead, Project Procurement Manager - Remote
About this role
Lead, Project Procurement Manager at Westinghouse overseeing procurement planning and coordination for instrumentation & control (I&C) and Westinghouse Power Business (WPB) projects. Develop sourcing strategies, implement procurement management tools, manage supplier relationships, and mentor procurement teams. Position is 100% remote with up to 10% travel.
Responsibilities
- —Develop and execute project procurement strategies across I&C and WPB project portfolio
- —Build relationships with business unit project teams to understand requirements and develop procurement solutions
- —Coordinate procurement activities and contribute to project planning proposals and stage-gate approvals
- —Lead program-level risk management, compliance, and performance monitoring
- —Partner with teams to improve sourcing strategies and supplier engagement
- —Monitor KPIs and report major project performance to senior leadership
- —Guide process improvements and digitalization initiatives within procurement programs
- —Mentor and support procurement project managers
- —Identify supplier demand, evaluate potential suppliers, and establish supplier communication channels
- —Support Commercial Teams with execution of sourcing strategies to achieve cost and value improvements
- —Evaluate cost elements for commodity groups and develop strategies to maximize supplier base value
- —Develop relationships with key suppliers and mediate contract performance issues
- —Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Westinghouse Procurement procedures
- —Manage supply and supplier commitments, including change and contract management post-purchase order
- —Support Accounts Payable with invoice and purchase order discrepancy resolution
- —Implement Best-Cost Country Sourcing with emphasis on middle and eastern Europe
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- —8+ years of supply chain management experience on large projects
- —At least 3 years of program management experience
- —Ability to travel up to 10%

- —Experience in sourcing and supplier management
- —Knowledge of supplier base for the nuclear sector
