About this role
Lead Project Procurement Manager overseeing all procurement activities for Westinghouse AP1000 nuclear reactor projects. Manage complex sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and contract execution to deliver components on schedule, on budget, and meeting quality requirements for nuclear power plant construction.
Responsibilities
- —Support development of procurement strategies and plans with Offer and Project Teams
- —Identify demand, potential suppliers, and establish communication channels with suppliers
- —Support Commercial Teams with execution of sourcing strategies
- —Coordinate RFx process and establish sourcing strategies for suppliers and services
- —Develop RFx documentation and define commercial conditions
- —Solicit quotations and analyze contract proposals, leading negotiation of pricing, delivery, terms and conditions
- —Lead contract preparation and purchasing process
- —Analyze cost elements for commodity groups to identify and obtain cost improvements
- —Develop strategies to maximize supplier base cost and value
- —Maintain relationships with main suppliers and partners, resolving contract performance issues
- —Use corporate Approved Supplier List Process for sourcing requirements
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration with focus in Supply Chain
- —Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contract/project administration of complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects
- —Experience managing a project/portfolio size of at least $5M
- —PMP certification (current, in process, or willing to obtain)
- —US Citizen
- —Must meet criteria for access to partners' and clients' technologies and meet import/export controls laws and regulations
