Supervise Instrument and Controls maintenance work crews at Xcel's nuclear facility in Welch, MN. Responsibilities

—Supervise safe execution of daily Instrument and Controls maintenance work activities and conduct pre-job safety briefings
—Review scheduled work, assign tasks, observe job sites, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
—Interface with operations, scheduling, planning, and engineering to resolve equipment issues and maintain work schedule adherence
—Manage configuration control and procurement coordination with engineering to ensure proper parts and quality standards
—Attend scheduling meetings, participate in work week preparedness, and manage impromptu changes to daily work plans
—Oversee On-the-Job Training (OJT) and Task Performance Evaluation (TPE) programs; serve on Training Committee
—Participate in station improvement initiatives including safety, human performance, and equipment improvement teams

Qualifications

High school diploma; two years of post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in engineering or related technical field; strong oral and written communication skills; demonstrated leadership ability; ability to work effectively as part of a team and support a changing work schedule.

Desired

Five years of experience in nuclear, fossil, similar industrial facility, or military environment; hands-on experience with Instrument and Controls systems.
