Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise Quality Assurance programs in regulated, engineering-intensive environments
- Working knowledge of nuclear and industrial quality standards (QMS-A, NQA-1, ISO 9001, ISO 19443) and practical application
- Experience governing and executing corrective action programs, including issue screening, causal analysis, trending, and effectiveness reviews
- Experience leading internal, supplier, customer, and regulatory audits, including preparation, execution support, and closure
- Strong partnership skills across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Project Management, and Licensing functions
- Experience developing and leading quality engineering teams
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and software quality assurance concepts
About this role
Lead Westinghouse's Instrumentation & Control Systems (ICS) Quality Assurance program across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and project delivery. Manage a global quality engineering team, ensure NRC and regulatory compliance, maintain nuclear safety culture, and serve as primary quality interface with regulators, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own and govern the ICS Quality Assurance program, ensuring alignment with Westinghouse QMS-A and regulatory, customer, and industry requirements
- Ensure effective deployment of quality processes supporting engineering, manufacturing, site operations, and project delivery
- Provide day-to-day quality leadership and operational support to ICS sites, factories, and project teams
- Coordinate with Supply Chain on supplier and vendor quality oversight, qualification, surveillance, and performance improvement
- Own ICS participation in regulatory, licensing, customer, and certification activities
- Lead the Corrective Action Program for ICS, including issue screening, prioritization, trend analysis, and effectiveness reviews
- Establish quality metrics, trend reporting, and dashboards to drive risk visibility and continuous improvement
- Plan and support internal, supplier, customer, and regulatory audits
- Ensure execution of self-assessments and quality program reviews
- Govern certification and qualification programs applicable to ICS quality activities
- Provide quality representation in ICS development programs and Westinghouse governance processes
- Provide oversight of Software Quality Assurance governance, resourcing, and alignment with Westinghouse requirements
- Lead and develop a global team of Quality Engineers, setting priorities and building capability
- Promote strong quality and nuclear safety culture across the ICS organization

Warrendale, PA (other Westinghouse locations considered); hybrid, 2–3 days per week on-site
