Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs
- Provide technical expertise and consultation as a subject matter expert to identify and resolve equipment and system problems
- Fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs impacting site operations
- Perform engineering tasks applying engineering principles and ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work
- Maintain proper configuration management and ensure standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes are used in preparation of plans and specifications
- Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs
- Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or comply with code and regulatory changes
- Support emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and outage activities as needed
Preferred qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Electrical Design Engineering experience
- Working knowledge of codes and standards
- Professional Engineer Registration (PE)
