Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities
- —Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs
- —Provide technical expertise and consultation as a subject matter expert to identify and resolve equipment and system problems
- —Fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs impacting site operations
- —Perform engineering tasks applying engineering principles and ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work
- —Maintain proper configuration management and ensure standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes are used in preparation of plans and specifications
- —Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs
- —Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or comply with code and regulatory changes
- —Support emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and outage activities as needed
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, or Nuclear)
- —Mid-level: 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience; Senior-level: 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
- —Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements and favorable medical examination/testing in accordance with position duties
Desired
- —Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- —Electrical Design Engineering experience
- —Working knowledge of codes and standards
- —Professional Engineer Registration (PE)
