About this role
Material handler and storeroom operator at Dominion's nuclear power plant in Eastover, South Carolina. Responsible for issuing, receiving, and managing inventory to support plant operations. You'll operate computer-based materials management systems, coordinate with supply chain and accounting teams, and handle safety equipment in a nuclear facility environment.
Responsibilities
- —Issue and receive materials for the plant via computer system
- —Manage inventory levels and track stock movements
- —Receive, process, and store incoming goods
- —Purchase and acquire materials within prescribed authorization limits
- —Handle and maintain safety equipment in accordance with nuclear facility protocols
- —Provide support to corporate accounting, supply chain management, and other company storerooms
- —Perform heavy lifting (minimum 50 lbs.) and conduct physical inventory tasks
- —Respond to scheduled and unscheduled overtime and plant operation call-outs
Qualifications
- —High school diploma or GED
- —Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft applications and minimum 20 WPM keyboard speed
- —Valid driver's license with safe driving history; ability to obtain CDL with Hazmat classification
- —Physical ability to lift minimum 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and climb to heights
- —Good physical condition
- —Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- —Strong communication and human relations skills
- —Attention to detail and ability to work in team environment
- —Availability for scheduled and unscheduled overtime
Desired
- —Previous storeroom, warehouse, materials management, or plant operations experience
- —Prior forklift experience

Onsite in Eastover, South Carolina. Role requires heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, climbing to heights, and availability for scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
