Fuel Contract Manager
About this role
Lead contract manager for Westinghouse nuclear fuel delivery in China. You will be the primary commercial focal point managing fuel and components contracts, coordinating multi-discipline teams across fabrication, reload engineering, and operations, and maintaining customer relationships while maximizing contract value and ensuring technical/delivery requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- —Act as Contract Manager and primary commercial focal point for all customer communications concerning fuel and components contract deliverables
- —Lead major nuclear fuel delivery activities, order implementation, and technical problem resolution across fabrication, reload engineering, fuel receipt, and operation phases
- —Manage multi-discipline issue resolution and serve as customer interface for scope, warranty, product, and technological deficiency resolution
- —Interpret customer specifications and contractual requirements to support Westinghouse engineering positions
- —Manage financial responsibility for accurate customer billing plans, timely invoice issuance, and revenue recognition targets
- —Track contract work scope execution across manufacturing, engineering, and core/reload operations
- —Prepare and issue Job Order Documents based on unique customer contractual requirements
- —Manage contract schedules and billing plans using SAP, ENOVIA, and EDMS tools
- —Coordinate assignment of engineering resources for routine and emergency technical support
- —Support account teams with proposal/contract preparation, customer presentations, and negotiations
- —Validate product line capabilities against customer requirements and provide periodic management updates
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; minimum six years of experience in product line, engineering, marketing, or projects organizations; knowledge of fuel and components manufacturing, core and reload engineering, and nuclear fuel products/services; proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Project, Excel, and EDMS (Webtop); demonstrated ability to communicate technical positions and contract status to customers; ability to travel within US and Asia; availability for flexible hours to accommodate international meetings.
Desired
Nuclear industry experience; 10+ years of relevant experience; knowledge of commercial operations and financial planning; previous customer-oriented experience.
Location
China-based role with travel requirements within US and Asia; flexible hours required to support international customer and team meetings.
