Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline
- 7+ years of experience in sales, business, engineering or operations with increasing progression and complexity
- Commercial effectiveness and negotiation skills with product knowledge
- Experience with financial analysis including sales, margin, OE relationships and EBITDA impact
- Collaborative mindset and teamwork skills with ability to lead teams to success
- Ability to absorb complex information and distill into key points for discussions, negotiations and strategic planning
About this role
Lead fuel business development for Westinghouse's PWR and BWR customers across the Americas. Manage customer relationships, drive sales of nuclear fuel and component solutions, identify market opportunities, and serve as primary point of contact for key accounts while reporting to the Fuel Business Director.
Responsibilities
- Lead sales processes using conceptual selling methodology to secure fuel and component business
- Monitor sales parameters including forecasting accuracy, Orders Entered (OE), Sales, EBITDA and Margin as Sold (MAS)
- Manage customer relationships as primary point of interface and internal Voice of the Customer
- Identify customer needs, business opportunities, and provide input for business planning maintained in D365
- Develop and maintain partnership relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Partner with Fuel Solutions Managers to identify unique products and engineering solutions exceeding customer expectations
- Maintain fuel manufacturing, core/fuel engineering and control rod blade components within customer account plans
- Develop opportunity-specific capture plans and set target price, value price and target cost
