About this role
Field Service Technician II at Westinghouse providing hands-on maintenance, repair, and support of specialized nuclear power plant equipment at customer sites and service centers. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, NDE technology support, robotic systems operation, decontamination, calibration, and documentation during plant outages. Requires extensive travel to nuclear facilities.
Responsibilities
- —Perform field and service center equipment maintenance, checkout, decontamination, packing, calibration, and shipment preparation
- —Review and implement operational and maintenance procedures and technical drawings
- —Provide engineering support including equipment modifications, setup, testing, mock-up preparation, and process qualifications
- —Document equipment performance issues and corrective actions during field implementation and outages
- —Maintain specialized field service equipment including NDE technology, robotic systems, and computer networks at customer sites
- —Work with hazardous materials while maintaining unescorted access status
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary degree/certificate or equivalent practical experience; 1+ years demonstrated experience in mechanical and electronic systems
Location
Based at Madison, PA facility; extensive travel required to nuclear power plant sites for outage support and field service work
