Field Service Technician I

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fuel handling and outage-critical refuel equipment at nuclear power plants worldwide. Based in Madison, PA, you'll work on-site at customer locations and support equipment maintenance at the Waltz Mill service center. This role requires extensive travel (60–80%) and unescorted access credentials at nuclear facilities.

Install, set-up, maintain, inspect, calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot fuel handling and outage-critical refuel equipment at customer nuclear power plant sites

Support equipment maintenance at the Waltz Mill service center between outage assignments

Review and apply operational procedures, maintenance procedures, and technical drawings in detail

Participate in training programs to acquire and maintain certifications and stay current with nuclear technology and procedures

Maintain 'Safety First' practices and good housekeeping standards in all work areas

Obtain and maintain Unescorted Access status at nuclear power plant sites

Collaborate with peers, supervisors, contractors, customers, and cross-functional departments

High school diploma or recognized equivalent

2 years post-secondary degree/certificate or equivalent industrial experience

2+ years hands-on experience in industrial field with demonstrated mechanical abilities

On-site at nuclear power plants (60–80% travel by airplane or automobile); based in Madison, PA when not deployed. Work environment includes exposure to hazardous materials and radiation areas requiring unescorted access credentials.
