About this role
Lead Maintenance Optimization Engineer at Westinghouse supporting nuclear operating plants. Apply industry best practices and data analytics to optimize equipment reliability, maintenance strategies, and plant operations. Guide utility clients through Plant Reliability Optimization (PRO) program implementation, including equipment classification, preventive maintenance optimization, spares strategies, and compliance with INPO standards.
Responsibilities
- —Support nuclear operating plant maintenance reliability and optimization projects using INPO AP-913 and AP-928 frameworks with data analytics
- —Lead Plant Reliability Optimization (PRO) programs: Equipment Classification, Preventive Maintenance Optimization, Spares Parts Strategies, Cycle Plan Agreement, and Functional Equipment Group Development
- —Develop Equipment Reliability Strategies applying INPO principles to reduce equipment unavailability and increase station resource bandwidth
- —Provide technical oversight, serve as primary contact for client technical SMEs, and present recommendations to fleet and station leadership
- —Support proposal development, project technical descriptions, and cost estimates for customer solutions
- —Deliver training to internal engineering team and client project teams
Qualifications
B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, Civil, or related discipline); minimum 15 years nuclear power industry experience; current or previously held operations license at commercial nuclear power plant
