Engineer, Sr Licensing & Regulatory Compliance
About this role
Senior licensing and regulatory compliance engineer supporting Constellation's nuclear fleet. Develop, manage, and implement licensing analyses and regulatory programs while ensuring compliance with NRC regulations and industry codes. Provide advanced regulatory and technical expertise to resolve complex regulatory issues and support licensing basis management across multiple reactor sites.
Responsibilities
- —Provide in-depth regulatory and technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement regulatory analyses, activities, and programs
- —Identify and resolve regulatory issues through consultation and technical support
- —Manage regulatory issues from initiation through resolution, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
- —Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of regulatory and technical projects
- —Maintain licensing basis documentation and recommend improvements to reduce regulatory burden and ensure code/regulatory compliance
- —Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities as directed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree; minimum 6 years of professional experience in nuclear licensing or regulatory compliance; effective written and oral communication skills; ability to maintain unescorted access and pass medical examination/testing.
Desired
Familiarity with NRC regulations and nuclear industry guidance; prior experience with 10 CFR 50.59 evaluations, license amendments, or topical report development; advanced technical degree and/or Professional Engineer (PE) license; previous Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license or certification.
