Engineer, Mechanical or Electrical
About this role
Constellation, the nation's largest producer of clean and reliable energy, seeks a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to perform engineering and technical tasks supporting nuclear plant operations. This is a multi-level position (Entry, Mid, or Senior) responsible for ensuring engineering products comply with safety analyses, industry codes, and NRC regulations.
Responsibilities
- —Assure all engineering products comply with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and regulatory requirements
- —Perform engineering and technical support tasks including design, analysis, and technical evaluation
- —Support emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and outage activities as directed
- —Maintain engineering documentation and ensure adherence to quality assurance standards
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear)
- —2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience (Mid-level E02) or 5 years (Senior E03)
- —Maintain minimum or unescorted site access requirements as applicable
- —Favorable medical examination in accordance with position duties
Desired
- —Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license
