About this role
Constellation seeks a Mechanical Engineer to provide advanced technical expertise supporting nuclear plant operations across our fleet of 55 GW of clean energy capacity. You will lead engineering problem-solving, technical decision-making, and complex project management for reactor systems and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs with in-depth technical expertise
- Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through technical expertise and consultation
- Manage engineering issues from initiation through resolution, ensuring compliance with design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes
- Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and regulatory compliance
- Recommend equipment upgrades, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, and address design flaws
- Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and scheduled outage activities
Preferred qualifications
Professional Engineer (PE) Registration; advanced technical degree or related coursework.
