You'll lead technical problem-solving, manage engineering issues from inception through completion, and support plant operations and outage activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs
- Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through direct technical consultation
- Manage engineering issues from inception through completion, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Apply engineering principles to assigned tasks and verify work meets standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes
- Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and programs
- Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or ensure regulatory compliance
- Support emergency response, departmental coverage, outage activities, and other assignments as directed by management
Preferred qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration
- Advanced technical degree or related coursework
- Previous onsite power generation or equivalent experience
