Electrical Maintenance Supervisor
About this role
Supervise electrical maintenance operations at a Constellation nuclear power plant, ensuring safe and compliant execution of work per NRC regulations and company policies. Lead craft personnel through training, qualifications management, and day-to-day maintenance activities. Coordinate with engineering, scheduling, and regulatory teams on online and refuel outage work.
Responsibilities
- —Supervise craft personnel performing electrical maintenance activities safely and effectively per procedures, NRC regulations, and schedules
- —Ensure department personnel maintain proper training, qualifications, and emergency plan certifications
- —Administer coaching, mentoring, performance management, and disciplinary action for assigned employees
- —Communicate significant facility and personnel issues to Maintenance Manager and applicable management
- —Foster collaboration with internal teams and external organizations including INPO and regulatory agencies
- —Participate in work control coordination, scheduling, and engineering meetings for online and refuel outage activities
- —Administer maintenance processes including training programs, surveillance, procedure revisions, and Corrective Action Program
- —Supervise vendor inspections and equipment repairs
- —Manage procurement and use of materials, parts, tools, equipment, and M&TE
- —Perform emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage support duties as directed
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED with 6 years related experience, OR Associate's degree in technical discipline with 4 years related experience, OR Bachelor's degree in technical discipline with 2 years related experience. Must maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access and pass favorable medical examination per position duties.
Desired
3+ years nuclear power plant operations experience. Electrical maintenance background including control circuits, motors, battery testing, bus duct inspection, and breakers (480V–6.9kV). Proficiency with electronic work management systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Location
On-site at nuclear power facility; participation in emergency response and call-out duties required.
