Required qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering or B.S. in Business Management
- 10+ years in Nuclear or Energy Industries
- Knowledge of all Westinghouse products and services
- Knowledge of nuclear utility industry and regulatory environment
- Knowledge of global marketing principles, industry practices, strategic planning, negotiation approaches, and contract administration
- Knowledge of Government, State, and Federal customer work processes and internal cultures
- Understanding of business planning and processes
- Eligible and authorized to travel to the U.S. on Westinghouse business
About this role
Director role leading Westinghouse APX project development and commercial strategy within the US nuclear customer base. Develop long-term customer relationships, drive engagement around AP1000, AP300, and LDES solutions, and serve as the primary commercial interface between customers and WEC delivery teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide interface between customers and WEC delivery/commercial teams, establishing focal point for commercial engagements and priorities
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers, understanding their needs and offering tailored technical and financial solutions
- Work with global markets to understand customer organization and strategies
- Maintain industry presence as a recognized trusted leader and expert on WEC APX technology
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting sales strategies
- Engage with senior management to report on sales activities, proposal status, and business development efforts
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and report progress to senior leadership via D365
- Establish critical relationships with customers at multiple organizational levels, from staff to Senior Executive roles
- Lead adoption of best practices and implement operational improvements
- Interpret industry, customer, and competitor data to establish strategic marketing approaches
Location, schedule, and travel
Remote within Canada; eligible and authorized to travel to the U.S. on company business.
