Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in sales, business development, or project management in the nuclear industry
- Specific focus on long-term operations, maintenance, and plant life extension projects
- Experience managing large-scale projects and securing multi-million-dollar contracts within the nuclear or energy sector
- In-depth knowledge of nuclear power plant operations, safety protocols, and industry regulations
- Ability to identify new business opportunities
- Strong negotiation skills with experience managing complex contracts and project terms
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse partners including clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams
About this role
Lead commercial strategy and sales execution for Westinghouse's nuclear long-term operations services across the EMEA region. Drive end-to-end deal cycles for high-value plant modernization, component replacement, and life-extension projects, building executive-level customer relationships and positioning Westinghouse as a strategic nuclear industry partner.
Responsibilities
- Complete sales strategies for high-value nuclear services programs including major component replacements, modernizations, and life-extension projects
- Lead full commercial lifecycle from opportunity identification through contract signature and structured handover to the Project Director
- Assess EMEA nuclear LTO market, tracking industry trends, customer priorities, competitor positioning, and regulatory developments
- Translate market intelligence into strategies that identify, shape, and capture new opportunities across plant upgrades, maintenance, and safety solutions
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior decision makers at nuclear utilities, government agencies, and industry partners
- Position Westinghouse as a strategic, long-term partner supporting safe, reliable, and economically viable plant operations
- Communicate with senior leadership through accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and proposal status reporting
- Maintain disciplined opportunity tracking and updates within D365
- Lead commercial negotiations for contracts, agreements, and project terms
- Partner with legal, finance, engineering, and risk teams to structure contracts balancing competitiveness, risk management, and customer value
- Maintain knowledge of Westinghouse's services portfolio, relevant technologies, and competitive offerings
- Direct proposal approval process with the Proposal Manager, including executive reviews and partner agreement
- Represent Westinghouse at industry forums, conferences, and customer events to strengthen networks and enhance market positioning
Location, schedule, and travel
EMEA region; based in any European country where Westinghouse has a location.
